I am a Senior Research Fellow in Health Services Research at the University of Sheffield, with experience in human-computer interaction, user-centred design, development of new technology, and evaluation of technology in health care.
I am Module Lead for Complex Evaluation Methods (Masters in Clinical Research), and convene a short course 'Real–world' evaluation: Ten key principles for evaluating complex health and social interventions.
As the Health Services Research representative for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer, I am active in consultancy work with a range of public, private and third sector clients.
I have a diverse ongoing programme of research, development, evaluation and service-redesign in the use of technology for healthcare, including automated data collection, electronic care records, remote monitoring and online dashboard development.
