About the project

The aim is to develop, in close collaboration with partners in health and social care, companies and academic groups Sheffield and elsewhere, a research and innovation programme focusing on the implementation of robotic application in care practice.

The result of the project should be a strong consortium of partners in the different fields mentioned that will work on a long-term programme. The programme will bring results of basic technical research in the field of robotics and computer science closer to practical use in health and social care. It will also help to steer the technical developments in directions that are most promising and needed from a care point of view.
