About the project
About the project
We have developed a new way of producing basic mobility aids such as walking sticks, crutches and walker frames.
With this new solution people can assemble such aids locally in a very short time, using standardised elements.
This project is a collaboration with the AMRC, a design company in India and a local rehabilitation in Bangalore, India. Valdis Krumins from the AMRC has worked on the design of this new concept.
Currently it is being evaluated in a field trial in India.
